The contest was to draw a scene from one of mine and Kitteh's fics. The prize: a picture by me (this picture), a drabble by Kitteh and a month subscription for DA.

The Story---
For *Somewhatcrazy's picture she decided she'd leave it up to me to illustrate my favourite scene from My13
My13 Naruto is an ANBU Hunter-nin and Sasuke, thanks to Itachi, has joined Akatsuki.
Sasuke's scroll he's tugging out in mid-air is for summoning his weapon the kusari-gama. Naruto's usual weapon is the knuckle blades, he'll even use his own long scarf as a weapon, often for defencive purposes. His mask was Kakashi's, given to him when he joined up.

Anymore, and I'll give the story away~

Art---
I never could stay decisive on Naruto's outfit. It's an amalgamation of Hunter-nin/ANBU. But given it's Naruto he'd still muck with it anyway. I blame my indecisiveness on the fact people don't wear the same thing twice. Unlike Naruto, Sasuke's is a constant in both casual and his professional wear. ( Did Itachi pick it out? 8D <3 )

The idea for the picture itself came from a certain phrase, the title of this picture. An idea I had for a long while, and thanks to the winner I had an excuse to use it. And although this scene isn't entirely IN My13, I could definitely see it being in it.
